Transaction, donation, and publication information: Purchase and donation amounts, dates, billing details, receipts, tax-acknowledgment details, subscription status, and records of books, audiobooks, courses, events, or digital content.
Program and personal-development information: Applications, participation, surveys, exercises, reflections, feedback, accommodations, and communications.
Communications, content, and recordings: Messages and support inquiries, survey responses, reviews, forum posts, photographs, audio or video you submit, and program recordings.
Sensitive information: Some information you provide may be considered sensitive under applicable law, including health or accommodation information or religious beliefs. We seek to limit collection to what is relevant.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure accounts; process registrations, purchases, and donations; deliver courses, events, books, audiobooks, and digital content; maintain records; respond to inquiries; personalize relevant Services; understand usage; conduct research; troubleshoot; protect users and our systems; prevent fraud; enforce our Terms; comply with legal duties; and send receipts, confirmations, service notices, and marketing or fundraising communications.
5. Programs, Recordings, and Public Media
Program recordings: Optimum may record content relating to programs. These recordings are used for internal quality assurance and training and are not disseminated publicly as part of that internal use.
Public media consent: We will obtain a participant's express written permission before using their identifiable likeness for public promotional or testimonial purposes.
6. Donations and Donor Privacy
We use donor information to process gifts, issue receipts and acknowledgments, maintain accounting and tax records, communicate about a gift, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade donor lists or donor personal information to third parties for their own marketing.
7. Payments and Stripe
Stripe or another disclosed processor may collect and process payment credentials and billing information under its own privacy notice and applicable payment rules. We receive information needed to confirm payment, issue receipts, provide Services, handle refunds, and keep records. We do not sell payment information and do not intentionally store full payment-card numbers in our own systems.
8. Books, Audiobooks, Courses, and Digital Distribution
When you obtain content directly from Optimum, we may use contact, order, access, and usage information to fulfill the order, provide access, communicate service updates, and respond to support requests.
Books, audiobooks, courses, and other digital content may also be offered through independent retailers, distributors, learning platforms, app stores, or streaming services. Those providers collect and handle data under their own terms and privacy notices.
9. Email, Text Messages, and Other Communications
Service messages: We may send necessary transactional or administrative communications about accounts, registrations, purchases, donations, program changes, security, or requests.
Marketing email: Where required, we obtain consent before sending promotional email. You may opt out by using the unsubscribe link in a message or emailing info@optimumworldcharity.com.

10. Cookies, Pixels, and Analytics
Our websites and communications may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, pixel tags, and similar technologies to operate features, remember preferences, measure traffic, and understand engagement.
Our existing Services use Google Analytics and other third-party analytics tools. You may adjust browser or device controls to block or delete cookies. Where applicable law requires consent for nonessential tracking, we will seek it before using those technologies.
11. When We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to vendors that host data, process payments or donations, provide email or text delivery, support customer service, administer events or courses, analyze website use, distribute content, or provide security and professional services.
We may disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a proposed merger, reorganization, or asset transfer.
Optimum does not sell personal information or donor lists, and does not rent or trade them to third parties for their own marketing.
12. Retention and Security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including providing Services, maintaining transaction and donation records, meeting tax or other legal requirements, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and enforcing agreements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures appropriate to the information and our operations. No system or transmission is completely secure. Please use a strong, unique password and notify us if you suspect unauthorized account activity.
13. Your Privacy Rights and Requests
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may request access to, correction or deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; request portability; or opt out of marketing or certain tracking.
To make a request, email info@optimumworldcharity.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. Describe the right you wish to exercise and the information or account involved. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
14. United States and Regional Notices
Privacy rights differ by state and by the type of organization or processing. Optimum will honor rights that apply to it. California's consumer privacy law generally does not apply directly to nonprofit organizations, and Florida's Digital Bill of Rights excludes nonprofit organizations from its definition of controller; other laws can still apply in particular circumstances.
Individuals in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, South Africa, or other jurisdictions may have additional statutory rights and complaint routes. Contact us under Section 13 so we can assess the law applicable to your request.
15. International Users and Transfers
Optimum operates from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism, we will use an available legal mechanism and appropriate safeguards.
16. Children and Minors
Our general online Services are intended for adults. We require users to be at least 18 to use the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 through the general Services. If we learn that we collected a child's personal information without required parental consent, we will take appropriate steps under applicable law, including deletion where required. A parent or guardian may contact info@optimumworldcharity.com.
17. Changes and Contact
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, Services, or law. We will post the revised Policy with a new "Last Updated" date and provide additional notice when required.
